SURROGATE ELITE “Your Choice” Surrogacy Care provides coverage for surrogates’ pregnancy-related medical expenses while providing parents the protection of a guaranteed fixed price upfront. No balance billing surprises like all the Surrogacy Insurance plans.

What is. . .

  • Coverage includes Temporary Total Disability and/or Accidental Death for a Surrogate.
  • Coverage is effective from the date of transfer or heartbeat, for up to 1 Year from that date.
  • Eligible for US-based Surrogates who have passed Sage’s screening and have been working full time for the 180 days prior to the date of application.
  • Available to all Sage Family Members

Sage has partnered with IDU to offer a competitive plan for Temporary Total Disability (TTD) and Accidental Death (AD) Coverage for prospective parent(s) to help protect their Gestational Surrogate during the course of their Surrogate Pregnancy. This plan is a great member benefit that supplements Surrogate Elite “Your Choice” Surrogacy Care.
